SOME OF THE FEATURES EXPLAINED

Scanning Speed
Scan/search 30channels or 30 steps per second. Scanning Steps 16 programmed steps from 50Hz to 125kHz, includes new 8.33kHz for airband.

LSB/USB Reception
Multimode reception including Single Sideband (SSB) and Morse code (CW).

High Efficiency Antenna
For top performance an efficient telescopic whip antenna (BNC) is used.

Duplex Receiving Cabability
When receiving two radio stations transmission on two different frequencies, this function allows the receiver to smoothly switch between these frequencies.

Stores 1.000 Channels
The receiver has a large capacity memory which can store up to 1,000 channels you select. The memorised channels can quickly be tuned by using the memory scan function.

Pass-band memories
For efficient search, bank scan, mode scan and programmed scan, 500 pass-band memory channels are also provided.

Descrambler
The unit contains descrambler circuitry capable of decipering and restoring certain transmissions.

Multi-colour Display
The back-light colour of the LCD can be changed from yellow-green-orange.

3-way Power Supply
Built-in universal adaptor can accomodate Alkaline dry cells or Ni-Cads. AC adaptor for home use and cigarette light plug (Optionally available).

Clone Function
Contents of memories can be copied to other MVT-7300 units.

Timer Function
The display indicates the time when the power is 'Off'. This function is provided with "Timer Alarm", "ON Timee' and "OFF" timer function.
